Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify a structure, save power, and remarkably improve the detection precision in a detecting device detecting the existence of an detection object made of a magnetic substance in no contact.
CONSTITUTION: Two single-turn split coils 46, 48 are constituted of a nearly 8-shaped pattern drawn on a flexible printed board. The flexible printed board is wound and fitted on the passing path 32 of a coil P, and the magnetic fluxes &phiv of the split coils 46, 48 are generated in the same direction. The synthetic magnetic flux of the split coils 46, 48 crosses the passing path 32 perpendicularly and uniformly, and the detection sensitivity is improved.
