Abstract:

PURPOSE: To solve such a problem that a level difference is generated by the thickness of a printed inner electrode of paste so as to enable a multilayer ceramic capacitor to be enhanced in productivity and lessened in cost by a method wherein inner electrode paste and ceramic powder paste are alternately screen-printed for the formation of a laminate.
CONSTITUTION: Fourteen dummy layers 5 are formed on a platen 4 of stainless steel by plating using two types of stainless steel meshes A9 and B10 in numerical aperture. Then, using stainless steel meshes, inner electrode paste and ceramic powder paste are alternately printed for the formation of seventy-six inner electrode printed layers 6 and seventy-five ceramic powder dielectric printed layers 7. Furthermore, fourteen dummy layers 5 are formed by the use of stainless steel meshes, whereby a multilayer ceramic sintered body 1 is obtained. By this setup, a flat surface can be obtained by printing carried out once, so that a ceramic capacitor of this design can be lessened in cost and improved in quality.
