Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute a small-sized compact multiport memory by providing a power output device which outputs the power controlled based on the word line driving signal outputted to a word line, to a power line. CONSTITUTION:m-number of power lines E1...Em connected to power terminals of memory cells M11-M1n...Mm1-Mmn and the power output device which outputs the power, controlled based on the word line driving signal outputted to word lines W1i-Wqi, to the power line Ei are provided. Consequently, information from p-number of information output lines ITa1-ITap are written in p-number of memory cells out of (mXn)-number of memory cells M11-Mmn of a memory cell array device successively q-number of times though the memory cell array device has only (mXq)-number of word lines and (nXq)-number of bit lines. Thus, the multiport memory is made small-sized and compact.
