Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fuel pump of excellent durability in the contacting surface of its eccentric cam With its pump lever.
CONSTITUTION: This fuel pump 10, driven by an eccentric cam 11, has a pump lever 20, a diaphragm 12 and an elastic member 13 energizing the pump lever 20 towards the eccentric can 11. The pump lever 20 has a main lever 21 and a lever pad 23 connected to the main lever 21 in a freely oscillating manner and its contacting surface with the eccentric cam 11 of the lever pad 23 is provided with 8 abrasion resisting contacting member 25. The main lever 21 and the lever pad 23 are connected together by, for example, a ball joint 31 or an elastic oscillating member.
