PURPOSE: To improve the extent of facility, and besides, a sensation of cleanliness as well as to prevent any small articles from dropping into a drain port by installing a multipurpose storage pocket, having a drain port downward, in the lower part of an overhanging part installed in a part of the opening end of a sink free of detachment.

CONSTITUTION: A counter 3 is overhung on a part of the opening end of a sink 1 of a kitchen cabinet 2, and a multipurpose storage pocket 4 is installed in the lower part of an overhanging part 3a free of detachment, while a drain port 1a is formed in the sink 1 after having it situated beneath the overhanging part 3a. With this constitution, this storage pocket 4 is made freely detachable, an inner part of the sink 1 is prevented from being narrowed, not being hindered at all, and besides, this pocket 4 is usable for storage of dewatered small articles. Moreover, since the storage pocket 4 exists in an upper part of the drain port 1a, any possible drop of these small articles into this drain port 1a is obviated from occurring, while this drain port 1a is covered up from sight, capable of ungiving any feeling of dirtiness.
