Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an extreme rise or drop in a room temperature during the heater operates in a fixed operation mode by a method wherein the operation is shifted to an operation mode in which the amount of oil consumed is a minimum when the room temperature exceeding a specified temperature continues over a specified time during the operation and is returned to the normal mode when it falls below the second specified temperature. CONSTITUTION: When operation is fixed to a medium operation mode with the upper limit room temperature set at 30 deg.C and a burning return temperature at 20 deg.C, as the room temperature detected with a thermistor 2 exceeds 30 deg.C as the upper limit room temperature exceeds 30 deg.C, a microcomputer 6 starts to measure operation time beyond the upper limit room temperature. Then, when the measured time exceeds a preset specified time T (e.g. 1min.), the microcomputer 6 shifts the operation to the 'weak operation mode' with the least burning quantity. Thereafter, the room temperature lowers gradually and when it reaches 20 deg.C as burning return temperature, the microcomputer 6 returns the operation to the 'medium' operation mode again.
