Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide smooth spatial intensity distribution of laser beams by arranging a phase plate for controlling convergence characteristics on an optical axis while using a wide band and wide diffusion angle laser device.
SOLUTION: By oscillating a laser oscillator 1 while inserting a laser medium A into the planar resonator of a short resonance wavelength after securing the thick diameter, the wide diffusion angle laser beam of a wide beam diffusion angle can be provided. A random phase plate 3 is provided for controlling the convergence characteristics and arranged between the laser oscillator 1 and a condenser lens 4 or convergent mirror. Besides, the random phase plate 3 can be arranged on an optical axis between the condenser lens or a convergent mirror and an object as well. Thus, a lot of convergent patterns to be the assembly of a lot of fine spots formed from the phase plate 3 and the condenser lens 4 are overlapped while having fine position deviation and the smoothed convergent patterns are provided.
