PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle by which delicate air- conditioning to left and right front seats and a rear seat can be realized at low cost with compact constitution and which is excellent in quick-acting property.
CONSTITUTION: In an air conditioner for a vehicle having front seat blowoff ports 24R, L, 25R, L, 26R, L and 27R, L arranged independently for front seats and rear seat blowoff ports 28R, L and 29R, L arranged independently for a rear seat, it has a main body part 2 enclosing a partition member 70 to divide a draft air duct in the vehicle width direction into two parts, an air introducing means 3 to introduce outside air and inside air in the main body part 2, a front evaporator 5 arranged downstream of the air introducing means 3, a heater core 6 arranged downstream of the front evaporator 5, a rear evaporator 7 arranged downstream of the heater core 6 and plural flaps arranged in the prescribed parts of the main body part 2 so as to open and close the draft air duct and a control part to control so as to send air from the front seat blowoff ports and the rear seat blowoff ports by opening and closing the flaps by a prescribed quantity according to the other operation of a vehicle room operation part.
