Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a slip-processing operation, by providing means for slip reading, information processing, printing, impression stamping, slip separation, slip feeding or the like as means for automatically processing a slip. CONSTITUTION:A selecting button 18 corresponding to the kind of a slip 20 is pressed, and a payment slip 20 is inserted through a slip-inserting port 1. The slip 20 thus fed is read by a slip-reading means 6. Based on the information thus read, a payment amount is displayed on a display part 19. When an amount of money displayed is paid in, a printing means 3 is operated to perform verification printing on a receipt stub formed at a part of the slip 20. Subsequently, a stamping means 4 is operated to stamp a predetermined impression on a receipt formed at a part of the slip 20. When a separating means 5 is operated to cut off the receipt part from the slip 20, a feeding means 9 is rotated in the opposite direction to feed out the receipt part through the port 1. Finally, the slip 20 thus separated is contained in a slip-containing part 7.
