Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for unnecessarily increasing the relative height of the screen of an LCD and a filter and narrowing the effective area of a printed circuit board by providing a liquid crystal display device with a skirt film of a separate body hanging down from the inner periphery of a switch case. SOLUTION: The skirt film 16 is formed as a film body molded into an annular body and is firmed in an L shape in cross section hangingly provided with a shielding film 17 from the front edge of a flange film 18 mounted and fixed to the switch case 2. This flange film 18 is inserted and mounted between the edge of the filter 4 of the switch case 2 and the printed circuit board 7. The shielding film 17 has a shape to hang down along the inner side of the picture frame shape of the shielding film so as to frame and enclose the film. When the switch case 2 is combined by placing and setting the case to a liquid crystal section 1, the inlet of a spacing 10 existing between the housing 8 of the liquid crystal section 1 and the printed circuit board 7 of the switch case 2 in this combined state is closed by the shielding film 17. As a result, the visual recognition quality of the liquid crystal display is improved.
