PURPOSE: To mitigate the crowdedness of a station window and an attended ticket barrier by writing the data of a refund ticket on a passenger ticket or the like, printing that effect or reporting that effect to a user and returning the passenger ticket or the like from a main body when an extraction means extracts the passenger ticket or the like of refund.

CONSTITUTION: When the passenger ticket or the like is inserted into a slot 1, the data stored in the passenger ticket or the like are read by a magnetic head H1 and supplied to the arithmetic processing for an exit of a CPU. When the identification data of a train which is the object of the refund are included in the read data, a wing W is set to a down state. By the down of the wing W, the inserted passenger ticket or the like is not recovered in a recovery box 7 and discharged to a discharging slot 2 by a discharging carrier path 6. At the time, the effect that it is the refund ticket is reported to the user through a speaker 8 and a display device 9 and the effect that it is the refund ticket is printed by a thermal head T. Thus, the user can have the passenger ticket or the like returned and exit.
