PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition capable of improving the absorption of ubidecarenone known as an agent effective for the improvement of coronary function to keep high concentration in blood and having high stability and safety by emulsifying ubidecarenone with fat globule skin in the milk of mammal and fractionating and purifying the emulsion particle.
CONSTITUTION: The objective ubidecarenone-containing composition containing a fraction rich in lipid microspheres having high emulsion stability as a main component can be produced by emulsifying ubidecarenone with an emulsifier consisting of the fat globule skin in the milk of mammal (especially preferably fat globule skin of cow's milk) and further fractionating and purifying the obtained O/W-type emulsion particles. A fraction having a particle diameter of about 1-5μm is preferably collected by the fractionation and purification.
