PURPOSE: To eliminate the trouble of minutely inputting information on a table from an input device to a table definition information file one by one, to improve efficiency at the time of generating a connection table, to eliminate an input error by means of a manual operation and to use the table again.

CONSTITUTION: An extraction means 41 extracts the arbitrary table from the tables in the table definition information file storing management information on the table required for a data base to operate. A generation means 43 extracts only the name of arbitrary items from the table extracted in the extraction means 41, connects them and generates the new table. A storage means 42 is for storing extracted table definition information and information on the table generated in the generation means 43 in a memory. A storage means 44 stores the table generated in the generation means 43 in the table definition information file 1, and dynamically enlarges file capacity when it is not enough.
