Title:
STEEL WIRE FOR GAS SHIELD ARC WELDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0623584
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a steel wire from buckling in an extrusion system wire feeding device by adding Nb, Cr Mo of the specific amount to the component of the steel wire for the gas shield arc welding.
CONSTITUTION: In a plated steel wire for an automatic or a semiautomatic welding, the wire contains, by weight, 0.01-0.13% C, 0.10-1.30% Si, 0.50-2.00% Mn, 0.01-0.07% Nb, and the remainder is composed of Fe and an other inevitable impurity. Further, in addition to this constitution, it may contain one kind or two more kinds of ≤0.30% Mo, ≤0.30% Cr, ≤0.50% Ti, ≤0.030% Al.
