PURPOSE: To provide a method wherein a cemented carbide tip the contact body of which is formed in an arcuate shape brought into adhesion to the outer periphery of a body when the tip is mounted on an end mill body is simply manufactured.

CONSTITUTION: A mold frame l having a recessed surface and a mold frame 2 having an arcuate protrusion surface are positioned facing each other. A mold space surrounded with partition walls 7 and 8 fitted in grooves 5 and 6 formed in the outer periphery of the mold frame 2 having the protrusion surface and the mold frames 1 and 2 is filled with a mixture of metallic carbide power and metallic powder and consolidated and coagulated for molding. The molded product is sintered at a high temperature to produce a cemented carbide tip.
