Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the infiltrativity of resin into base material by a method wherein resin varnish is inflitrated into the fibrous base material after the fibrous base material is irradiated with ultraviolet rays and, after that, dried.
CONSTITUTION: After fibrous base material treated with coupling agent is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, resin varnish is infiltrated in the base material. and dried. In this case, as the fibrous base material, woven fabric or non-woven fabric made of inorganic fiber is used. Thus, the affinity between the base material and the resin becomes favorable and the infiltrativity of the resin into the base material can be improved.
