Abstract:
PURPOSE:To alleviate unbalance in load among three phases of a generator having three-phase three-system by connecting at least three regulating loads between wire paths of the generator through the intermediary of continuity control sections, and by selecting these loads in accordance with the result of detection of currents running through the respective wire paths of the generator. CONSTITUTION:Regulating loads 31a through 33b are connected, each two, between wire paths R, S, between wire paths S, T and between wire paths T, R of a generator 1 driven by a hydraulic turbine 2 through the intermediary of three terminal type bidirectional thyristors 41a through 43b as continuity control sections. Further, there are provided a frequency detecting circuit 5 for detecting a frequency of output power of the generator 1, frequency setting circuit 6 for setting a rated frequency of the generator 1, and a frequency comparing circuit 7 which compares output signals from the circuits 6, 7 with each other and delivers a deviation therebetween to a selecting circuit 10 in a regulating load control means 9. The selecting circuit 10 then calculates a regulating load value for compensation with the use of the regulating loads 31a through 31b, and allows these regulating loads to be selected so as to minimize a difference in current between each currents running through the wires R, S, T.
