Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the tastiness of a boiled scallop by separating only the adductor muscle from a shucked boiled scallop, boiling the adductor musele and mixing the resultant boiled liquid in a cooled liquid of the boiled scallop.

CONSTITUTION: A scallop with a shell is boiled to provide a boiled scallop, which is then cooled with a cooling liquid of fresh water or seawater. Only the adductor muscle is separated from the scallop separately from the boiled scallop and boiled to afford a dried adductor muscle. The boiled liquid used for boiling the adductor muscle is added to the cooled liquid of the shucked boiled scallop to supplement the insufficient tastiness of the boiled scallop.
