Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase safety and shorten work time by effectively utilizing work space and automating battery charging/replacing so as to eliminate charging failure.
CONSTITUTION: A battery replacing device comprises a replacing/charging means 2 disposed on sides of a railroad 6 on which a battery locomotive 1 runs, in which an empty, battery 1c from the battery locomotive 1 is taken up and thus charged and the other charged battery 1c is returned to the battery locomotive 1.
