Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect an abnormal approach and to prevent a collision of two cranes accurately by unifying a transmission channel of one side and a receiving channel of the other side of the two cranes on the same track. CONSTITUTION:By unifying a transmission channel and a receiving channel of crane collision preventive devices of two cranes (A and B) or (C and D) on the same track 4 or 5, the receivers 7 of both the crane collision preventive devices detect the microwave transmitted in the same channel from the opposite cranes when the two cranes (A and B) or (C and D) approach abnormally, and a warning is given to prevent a collision. And by using the different transmission channels and receiving channels between the crane collision preventive devices of the cranes (A, B) and (C, D) each other which are likely to approach each other on the neighboring tracks 4 and 5, the both crane collision preventive devices of the two pairs of cranes do not react each other even though the cranes (A and C) or (B and D) approach each other.
