PURPOSE: To provide a solid-liquid recovery device and usage therefor, in which recovered solid-liquid changes into a solid material with a low moisture content in a recovery tank to be discharged and the liquid part is utilized separately.

CONSTITUTION: A solid-liquid recovery device adopting a vacuum suction system comprises an upper circulating chamber 2a and a lower storing chamber 2b which are vertically communicated with each other and respectively have lip valves 15a, 15b at the lower base parts, wherein solid-liquid pumped from a liquid supply source 5 is first recovered in the lower storing chamber 2b to reach the open lower edge area 17e of the lip valve 15a, and then the solid part of solid-liquid which reaches the upper circulating chamber 2a is let flow down in the storing chamber 2b by a specific gravity difference, and the liquid part in the storing chamber 2b is raised in the circulating chamber 2a to discharge the solid part with a low moisture content deposited in the storing chamber 2b to the outside.
