Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concretely and easily let a user know the name of his/her caller by displaying a character string that is stored in a pair with a received telephone number of the originating side on a display as long as this telephone number is stored in a storage means which stores plural pairs of telephone numbers and character strings.
SOLUTION: A storage means A of an incoming display controller CNT. that is added to a mobile machine MT stores plural pairs of telephone numbers of the opposite parties and character strings such as names, etc., of the opposite parties. A retrieval means B retrieves whether a telephone number of the originating side is stored in the means A when the telephone number is transmitted from a base station ST. in a call in mode of the machine MT. If the means B decides that the telephone number is stored in the means A, a display control means C shows the character string that is stored in a pair with the relevant telephone number on a display DP of the machine MT.
