PURPOSE: To make the space between contacts small, and to form the whole device thin by adhering a conductor contact pattern part of a flat cable to a contact of a lower plate, and pinching it with an upper plate through a guide pin.

CONSTITUTION: In a connecton device, a flat cable 5 is pinched by an upper plate 2 and a lower plate 3. At this stage, a guide pin 4 of the upper plate 2 passes through a through hole of the cable 5 and is pushed into a guide hole of the lower plate 3 to adhere a contact 6a of the lower plate 3 to a conductor contact pattern part of the cable 5 for fixation. The contact 6a of the lower plate 3 and the conductor contact pattern part of the cable 5 can thereby contact each other without generating a displacement. Consequently, a space between the contacts 6a can be reduced, and a necessity for providing a reinforcing plate is eliminated to form the thickness of the whole of a device thin.
