Abstract:

PURPOSE: To educate a user so as to master correct stroke order by displaying the stroke order of a character user and the result of a comparison with the correct stroke order.

CONSTITUTION: When a handwritten character is inputted from an input means 101, a character recognizing means 102 recognizes the inputted handwritten character. The stroke order of the inputted handwritten character is stored in a 1st storage means 103. Then a comparing means 105 reads the correct stroke order of the character that the character recognizing means 102 recognizes out of a 2nd storage means 104 and compares with the stroke order of the inputted handwritten character and a display means 106 displays the comparison result. Then a stroke order check part judges that the character is written in the correct stroke order when the comparison result indicates the coincidence or in wrong stroke order when not, and displays the difference in stroke order to let the user know it.
