Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a self-adhesive tape which does not exhibit the telescope phenomenon and to improve the productivity in producing the self-adhesive tape without increasing the cost by aging a semifinished product roll by heating it under pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A substrate is coated with a self-adhesive compsn., dried, and rolled around a core tube to give a semifinished product roll, which is aged by heating under pressure. The aged semifinished product roll is cut to a desired width to give the objective self-adhesive tape.
