Abstract:
PURPOSE: To adjust image quality of a master image and/or a slave image of a master-slave image with simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: Brightness and color signals of a master image screen and a slave image screen selected by a signal switching circuit 34 are inputted to a demodulating circuit 35, and are demodulated into color difference signals of the master image screen and the slave image screen. Demodulated master- slave image screen signals are inputted to [Y (O) signal, R-Y (O) signal, B-Y (O) signal, Y (K) signal, R-Y (K) signal and B-Y (K) signal] brightness contrast adjusting circuit 36. A signal outputted from the brightness-contrast adjusting circuit 36 is inputted to a slave image screen inserting circuit 37. The slave image screen inserting circuit 37 is formed of a slave image screen signal compressing circuit 38 to compress an image of the slave image screen and an image switching circuit 39 to switch master and slave images to/from each other in synchronism with a synchronizing signal of a master image.
