Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spindle motor, which can be made thin and moreover is not inferior to usual ones in mechanical strength.
CONSTITUTION: On a base plate 1, a plurality of window parts 19 are provided in the circumferential direction of the base plate 1 at predetermined pitches. A stator core 12 of a stator 5 is mounted on the base plate 1, and some parts of respective winding parts 14 of the stator 5 are made to penetrate the respective window parts 19 opposed thereto.
