Title:
BATTERY DRIVEN PORTABLE DATA EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2503903
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a battery driven portable data equipment which shifts to a low power consumption state only if the equipment is raised and is moved.
CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a sensor part 1 0 sensing the moving of a body, a moving detection circuit 11 comparing the sensing signal from the sensor part with a prescribed reference value and discriminating the presence or absence of the moving of the body, a control signal monitoring circuit 13 monitoring the moving detection signal from the moving detection circuit 11 and the signal showing the ON or OFF of a power source and outputting a signal shifting to a low power consumption mode when the moving detection signal or the signal of the power source OFF is received and a processing circuit 14 making a low power consumption state by stopping a processing operation, receiving the shifting signal to the low power consumption mode, preserving the state in processing and resuming the processing operation by restoring the preserved state by the release of the shifting signal to the low power consumption mode. Even when the OFF operation of the power source is forgotten when the moving is performed with the equipment, useless consumption of a battery can be prevented as much as possible.
