Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a controller for an electric motor vehicle which can eliminate an unnecessary protecting operation due to flow of a reserve exciting current by a simple circuit without adding a new component.
CONSTITUTION: A current detector 3 is connected in series with a field of a motor connected in parallel with a reserve exciter 1. A current flowing in a direction of a field winding 2 from a connecting point A of a positive terminal of the exciter 1 to a positive terminal of an armature is detected by the detector 3.
