PURPOSE: To carry out a heating operation less than its rated value without changing a cooling cycle.
CONSTITUTION: The equipment is provided with a high temperature regenerator 11, a low temperature regenerator 12, a condensor 13, an evaporator 14, an absorber 15, a low temperature heat exchanger 16 and a high temperature heat exchanger 20. Each of these units is communicated to each other and connected to each other by a supplying pipe P for flowing refrigerant, refrigerant vapor and absorber agent solution. During the cooling operation, hot water is flowed from the condensor 13 to the absorber 15. Hot water temperature within the cooling water pipe 18 is increased by the condensing heat of the refrigerant at the condensor 13 and by the sensitive heat of the high temperature absorption solution at the absorber 15 and then the hot water is taken out as the hot water temperature capable of being supplied from the hot water outlet port as the hot water capable of being applied for the heating operation. The hot water can be sufficiently countermeasured by the heating less than the rated capability without changing any cycle within a freezer, the operation can be changed over immediately to the cooling operation and the operation can be accommodated well against a load in an intermediate season of about March or June.
