Title:
INTERPHASE INSULATOR FOR MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0638423
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an interphase insulator for motors in which the shifting of coil-end insulating sections hardly occurs or the insulating sections are hardly separated from each other from their joint at the time of enlarging the opening of the coil end or inserting a winding into the coil end.

CONSTITUTION: Coil-end insulating sections 2 and 3 which are separated from each other when the opening of a coil end 8c is enlarged are connected to each other through an inner connecting section 4a and the length of the section 4a is made longer than the distance between the sections 2 and 3. In addition, the parts of the sections 2 and 3 which are little affected at the time of enlarging the opening are connected to each other through an outer connecting section 4b and the length of the section 4b is made shorter than the distance between the sections 2 and 3. Moreover, a fusion-bonding part 5 near the intersection 10 of different-phase coils is brought nearer to the exit of the slot 9 of a stator core 7.
