PURPOSE: To obtain a durable grout which exhibits a desired flowability at a low water level, has enough strengths after curing, and allows no minute crack to occur on the surface by using spherical particles of a hydraulic material as the main component.
CONSTITUTION: A grout containing particles of a hydraulic material as the main component. The mean diameter of the particles is pref. 500μm or lower in order to accelerate the hydration reaction, i.e., to quicken the hardening, and to increase the strengths after hardening. The material is produced, e.g. by thermally melting a feedstock mixture contg. limestone, clay, silica rock, iron feedstock, etc., and converting the resulting melt into spherical particles by the melt atomizing method wherein the melt is scattered by blowing a high- pressure gas to it or it is scatterd in a vacuum and cooled to solidify in a scattered state.
