PURPOSE: To store quickly a picture when the user watches a television broadcast screen and desires to store it by providing a storage IC memory by number of still pictures in advance to a television receiver main body and storing the required picture by the still picture number to the IC memory through the operation of a video recording button of a remote commander.

CONSTITUTION: An IC memory 10 for storing a picture exclusively by a still picture number is mounted in a television receiver main body. When a video recording button 21 of a remote commander 20 is operated, a video input 1 converted into a digital signal through an A/D converter 2 is being written in the IC memory 10 according to a write address 3. When the data are stored in the IC memory 10 to some degree, the read is started according to a read address 5 of a reference synchronizing signal 5 and the read video signal is converted into an analog video output 7 through a D/A converter 6. The stored picture is reproduced by having only to operate a reproduction button 22 of the wireless remote commander 20.
