Title:
OXYGEN-FREE PACKAGING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH068912
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a package form that is flexible enough for enabling packed articles to be put in good order by a method wherein a packaging bag in which articles are thrown in is filled with inert gas and air in the packaging bag is displaced by the inert gas and at the same time, deaerated packaging is made with deoxygenation agent thrown into the packaging bag.

CONSTITUTION: In the case where oxygen-free packaging of cereals, such as polished rice, is made by using a poreless barrier-type packaging bag 6, polished rice in specified weight are put into the packaging bag 6 through a discharge chute of a weighing/ packaging device and after that, displacement gas in a gas cylinder is supplied into the packaging bag 6 with a nozzle 8 lowered into the packaging bag 6, and air inside the bag 6 is displaced by the displacement gas. Then, the nozzle 8 is lifted up and at the same time, deoxygenation agent is put into the bag and after that, a gate 10 is closed and the bag mouth is sealed up by operation of a sealing table 11. The aforementioned sealing is a kind of temporary sealing having an effect similar to that of a check valve, through which gaseous body can be released through the sealing from the inside of the bag 6 to the outside while preventing the same from coming into the bag 6 from the outside. Then the packaging bag 6 is deaerated with a deaeration device and after the deaeration, a slit on the bag mouth is sealed up completely.
