PURPOSE: To improve the appearance of the pedestal of a crescent locking a 'shoji' screen and a double hung window, and to facilitate incorporation.

CONSTITUTION: A crescent is applied to a crescent pedestal, which is installed to a fitting member 1 and in which the crescent 5 is mounted rotatably at a central section. Fixture inserting holes 2d are formed at both ends of the pedestal 2, and stepped sections 2g are formed around the fixture inserting holes 2d. Covers 7 concealing the fixture inserting holes 2d are fitted at the stepped sections 2g. Engaging sections 7b on the rears of the covers 7 are engaged with engaging holes 2f. The surfaces of the covers 7 are formed in approximately the same surface as the surface of the pedestal 2.
