PURPOSE: To boil the rice by keeping the required distance to a heating coil by forming a space between the rice cooker and a magnetic line of force- transparent member and keeping the temperature distribution in the space uniformly and to device the safety of the use and the product.

CONSTITUTION: An induction heating coil 8 is provided at the bottom of a device 4. A container 2 of the device 4 is integrally formed by the magnetic line of force-transparent member. A rice cooker 1 generating heat by the alternate magnetic field is housed inside the container 2 and opposed to the coil 8. The rice cooker 1 is supported in the device 4 by putting an upper end peripheral part 16 on a shoulder part 100 of the device 1. A space 21 is formed between the side and bottom of the rice cooker 1 and the container 2. A temperature detection body 9 with a temperature sensor 9a at the bottom of the device 4 is provided in the space 21 and pushed to have pressure contact with the rice cooker 1.
