Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the mount structure by which directivity of a small sized and thin profile case is not lost by providing a rear side air chamber to a rear side of a microphone unit and a rear side sound hole linked to the rear side air chamber to the rear side or a lower side of the case.
CONSTITUTION: A microphone unit 11 is supported by a soft rubber holder 12 and they are stored in a case 10 and a sound hole 15 is provided to a front side of the unit 11. Furthermore, a rear side air chamber 15 with a prescribed volume is provided to the rear side and a rear side sound hole 18a linking thereto is formed to the lower side. Then the amplitude and the phase of an incoming sound wave from the outside of the case are changed by the rear side air chamber and the sound hole and the resulting sound wave is led to the rear side of the microphone unit to realize the unidirectivity. Thus, the microphone unit is mounted without losing the unidirectivity in the case of thin profile and small volume.
