Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of simplifying working of a pin in a work for a groove at a transition part from a pin to a center main body, not influencing joining reliability caused by using a fixing ring to an element corresponding to a work and simplifying final working of a pin surface in the same process or the other process. SOLUTION: In a working method of a pin of a work such as a three leg joint 2, a universal joint and a joint inner member, the work is produced by cold press at first, in a work having annular grooves 5, 6 at a free end part and a transition part from a pin to a center main body when a pin is completed, grooves in a pin is formed by cold deformation after the work is produced by cold press.
