PURPOSE: To obtain an automatic supply water type bath heater of which a heating operation is controlled so that a prescribed ready-bath temperature be obtained, by adding a supply water function to a natural circulation type bath heater.
CONSTITUTION: The respective data on the quantity of supply water from a water quantity detecting means 5 and the temperature of supply water from a supply water temperature detecting means 4 are sent to a control device 8 and the control device executes controls of computing the quantity of heat of the supply water during the supply of water, computing the quantity of target heat after completion of the supply of water, comparing the quantity of the target heat with the sum of the quantity of the heat of the supply water and the quantity of applied heat and ending heating when the sum becomes equal to or larger than the quantity of the target heat.
