To provide a navigation information display device capable of detecting a tidal direction by an inexpensive constitution, and displaying the tidal direction on a map together with an own ship position and a bow direction.
This device includes: an image display 9; an own ship position detection device 3 for outputting own ship position information; an azimuth detection device 2 for outputting the azimuth of the bow direction of own ship; a map information storage means 14 for storing map information; a tidal current detection means for calculating tidal information including the tidal direction in a present sea area based on a change with time of the own ship position information in a drifting state; a tidal current detection instruction means 26 for instructing calculation of the tidal information to the tidal current detection means in the drifting state; and a display control means for controlling so as to display a tidal current display image 31 displaying the present position of own ship, the bow direction at the present point of time, and the tidal direction in the present sea area on the map.
