At generating NC data in an NC device for controlling the relative movement of the tool of a machine tool and a work, a plurality of objects to be machined are systematized at successively machining those objects to be machined according to a plurality of machining stages (processes) decided as prescribed procedures, and when the machining of one of those objects to be machined is completed in one of those machining stages, the machined object is delivered to the next machining stage, and the machining of the object to be machining to the next sequence is started in the machining stage. Thus, NC data can be generated based on the machining method following two-dimensional process scheduling including the above procedure.
