Abstract:
To provide a near infrared radiation absorbing dye which has high transmittance in a specific region of near infrared rays (900 nm to 1200 nm), excellent blocking ability of near infrared rays of 700 nm to 800 nm, good dispersion stability, light resistance, and heat resistance, and to provide a near infrared radiation absorbing composition and optical filter.SOLUTION: A near infrared radiation absorbing dye is expressed by the following general formula (1) and has a diffraction peak at Bragg angle 2θ (±0.3°)=6.3°, 8.8°, 23.6°, and 24.4° in an X-ray diffraction pattern using CuKα rays.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
