Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squarylium dye having little absorption in a visible region (400 nm to 700 nm), excellent near-infrared absorptivity and high durability, a near-infrared absorptive composition comprising the above dye, and a near-infrared cut filter comprising the above near-infrared absorptive composition.SOLUTION: A near-infrared absorbing dye [A] having a specific structure represented by general formula (1) is disclosed.
