PURPOSE: To enable the manufacturing at a low cost and to stabilize characteristic of a fuel injection valve by providing a pair of metal balls, an intermediate shaft which communicates both the metal balls with each other, an anchor part connected to one of the metal balls and a fuel passage at the metal balls.
CONSTITUTION: A needle 12 has an upper and lower pair of the first metal ball and the second metal ball 32. The first and the second metal balls 31 and 32 are connected to both the ends of an intermediate shaft 33 in a body. An anchor part 34 is attached to the opposite side to the intermediate shaft 33 of the first metal ball 31. A part of the spherical surface of the outer circumferential sides of the first and the second metal balls 31 and 32 is machined to a flat surface, whereby forms a fuel passage 39. The first and the second metal balls 31 and 32 are slidably brought into contact with a guide surface 11. In this way, production can be carried out at a low cost and characteristic of a fuel injection valve can be further stabilized.
