To provide the needle thread take-up guard of a sewing machine capable of effectively preventing needle thread hooked to a needle thread take-up during an operation from interfering with the needle thread take-up during a standby in a stop state and the different needle thread hooked to it.
The sewing machine of a multiple needle type is provided with a supporting body 5 disposed on the front surface of a sewing machine head, plural needle bars freely elevatably and lowerably provided on the supporting body 5 for which a sewing needle is mounted to a lower end and the plural needle thread take-ups 8 provided corresponding to the needle bars and freely vertically swingably projected tram the supporting body 5. Then, for this needle thread take-up guard 20 of the sewing machine, isolation bodies 21 capable of mutually isolating the respective adjacent needle thread take-ups 8 in the prescribed range of the reciprocating movement path of the needle thread take- ups 8 are disposed to the supporting body 5.
