In a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery formed by integrating the mixture of graphite particles and an organic binder with a current collector, the negative electrode for the lithium secondary battery contains 3-20 wt.% of an organic binder in the mixture. In the lithium secondary battery, the negative and positive electrodes for the lithium secondary battery are arranged facing each other via a separator, and an electrolyte is injected around them.
