Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode material for a lithium ion secondary battery having a high discharge capacity and initial charge-discharge efficiency, and a rapid charging characteristic even if the anode is made of an aqueous binder, its manufacturing method, and an anode for the lithium ion secondary battery and the lithium ion secondary battery using the anode material. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of graphite particles as the anode material for the lithium ion secondary battery comprises a mechanochemical treatment of the graphite particles, and changing surface characteristics of the graphite particles into hydrophilicity. The mechanochemical treatment is preferably carried out under the coexistence of hard fine particles.
