To thin a reinforcing body by doubly disposing net bodies formed of reinforcing bars, continuous fibers, etc., in a latticed shape on a surface to be reinforced while arranging the reinforcing bars on the same planes in the vertical and horizontal joint sections of the net bodies and coating the net bodies with mortar.
Net bodies 2 consisting of continuous fibers such as glass fibers, carbon fibers, aramid fibers, etc., to which reinforcing bars are arranged or which are impregnated with a synthetic resin, are superposed and disposed doubly on a surface 1a to be reinforced in an existing concrete slab 1. A plurality of the reinforcing bars 2c composed of the same quality of material as the net bodies 2 are arranged on the same planes in joint sections 4 in the vertical and horizontal directions of the net bodies 2. The cross sections of horizontal reinforcements 2a, vertical reinforcements 2b and the reinforcing bars 2c can be formed in a circle or a rectangle, and the sectional areas are formed in the half of a reinforcement sectional area required. The surface 1a to be reinforced is coated with polymer cement mortar 3, and the polymer cement mortar is solidified and unified. Accordingly, a concrete building frame is reinforced efficiently while a reinforcing body A is thinned and lightened, and dead load can be reduced.
