The network facsimile terminal is provided with a public network I/F section 6, that applies communication control to a LAN connected to a public network and a database server receiving and registering electronic mail, a LAN I/F section 7, and a system control section 1 that conducts communication control on the basis of information in the memory section 4, and the system control section 1 selectively conducts a 1st function that stores the information of a public network/network, the received image and its associated information to the memory section 4, a 2nd function that registers the received original to a mail address of the registered database server, and a 3rd function that generates the format from the received information, attaches the format to the received original and transmits the resulting original to the database server as an e-mail.
