To more easily restore the once-initialized network configuration to the original configuration in a network device.

An image printer and an image reader are connected to the network device via a communication channel different from that of a network. When the network configuration is changed to the initial configuration by the network device, when the original configuration before change to the initial configuration is different from the initial configuration, a configuration image representing at least part of a configuration value of the original configuration is printed by the image printer. Then, an output flag representing that the configuration image is output is set. Then, the network device is restarted after the network configuration is changed to the initial configuration. When the output flag is set after restart, the network configuration is changed based on the configuration value represented by the configuration image acquired from the image reader and restored to the original configuration.
